Resident Evil Review

I may not be the best person to review this movie, as I haven’t played the computer game it’s based on, and I only managed to watch it on TV, so it was probably cut to shreds by the censors and constantly interrupted by ads :(.

However I do love horrors and computer games, so was very interested in seeing hopefully one of the better movies fully based on a computer game.

Overall I thought it was a pretty cool movie. Milla Jovovich was great as the hero from the computer game, fighting the Umbrella Corporation and it’s creations with a band of the corporations own security staff.

Lots of nice horror effects and abominable creations. Definitely one of the better modern mainstream horrors. And I’d say a definite must for the fans of the computer game.

Overall 8/10, looking forward to Resident Evil 2 :)
