No Boondocks Sequel

The low down on Boondock Saints 2. I've been doing a bit of research and hearing alot of rumours. The most likely story I can see is that sadly there is no Boondock Saints sequel coming anytime soon.

As far as I can tell the "Rumour" of the sequel was started by Troy Duffy the director of the great original movie, some say to generate publicity.
The release date was to be September 2005, which came and went with no news.
None of the actors said to be coming back for the sequel have confirmed, and the movie details have been removed from imdb.com.

So things aren't looking good.

Now you may ask why won't there be a sequel to such a good movie, I know I certainly do.

Apparently Troy Duffy does not get on very well with studio execs. They canned the release of the first movie, meaning it never reached movie theatres originally and they won't put up any cash for a sequel.

So it's a sad mess we fans find ourselves in :(.
